Which is the happiest country in the world?

According to the World Happinness Report ranking under the auspices of the United Nations, the happiest country in the world 2021, for the fourth consecutive year, remains Finland.

Switzerland comes 3rd (out of 189), and the African countries where Morija deploys its programs are among the most disadvantaged: Cameroon 91st, Burkina Faso 113th, Chad 128th, and Togo 136th (2020).

The study is based on surveys that ask people about their own level of happiness. These data are then crossed with the GDP and various indices of solidarity, individual freedoms, life expectancy, health and corruption.

The results of the study highlight the relationship between individual happiness, the standard of living of populations and the environment in which they operate.

We better understand the importance of the involvement of development cooperation organizations! These figures motivate us to continue deploying our actions, which we invite you to support.
