Children are the main victims of hunger and malnutrition. In Burkina Faso, 19% of the children die before even the age of 5.

Morija has 3 Nutrition Centers (CRNE), in Burkina Faso and Chad, to accommodate, care for and refeed malnourished children.
These centers, better equipped than the different medical centers of the country, provide total care for the most severe malnutrition cases.

Through your sponsorship, several malnourished children can be saved :

  • They are accommodated during his whole treatment
  • They receive the necessary medical care
  • They are fed with therapeutic foods
  • They are followed up during one year, with a monthly check-up by weighing and examination

>> 20 days are needed on average to restore to health a malnourished child.
