World Toilet Day: an essential need!

Because 4.2 billion people still do not have access to safe sanitation systems, that is, they do not have a toilet at home or have a toilet that does not allow a hygienic management of excreta.
Without sanitation, these people have two options: use an inadequate communal latrine or practice open defecation. The lack of a sanitation system threatens the safety of water resources, which are thus polluted by human excreta, with all the health risks that this entails, in particular diarrheal diseases.
We can better understand why Morija has invested in the construction of latrines in the countries of intervention. It was imperative to act and the results are there, since, with your support, more than 4000 family latrines, for example, have already been built!
