A solidarity action at the Collège de la Tuilerie (CO-EPP) in St-Maurice

In sub-Saharan Africa, more than 35 million students do not attend primary school, and in Burkina Faso, nearly 30% of adults suffer from illiteracy! It is therefore crucial to enable as many children as possible to access education.

For the majority of Burkinabé children enrolled in rural areas, access to clean water, toilets, suitable school materials, or even a midday meal is not always guaranteed. In Morija, education has always been a priority and will be even more emphasized in the future: new actions will be taken in favor of students and schools in Burkina Faso.

The Chocolats-Solidaires initiative is a project proposed by the humanitarian association Morija in partnership with the Collège de la Tuilerie (COEPP) in St-Maurice. The goal of the initiative is to raise awareness among students about the issue of poverty and to provide a simple and effective tool for them to offer concrete assistance to improve the educational conditions at a specific school in Burkina Faso: the Wendbénédo school.

To collect the necessary funds to meet these needs, a box of Chocolats-Solidaires is offered to you in exchange for a donation to your generosity. As the initiative progresses, you are invited to follow the different stages on the website: Collège de la Tuilerie (CO-EPP) in St. Maurice. The donation collection started on November 20 and will last for one month.
