Mother and child protection (MCP)
Location : Koumra, southern Chad

- Ensure preventive and curative consultation for the children
- Ensure mothers’ education on nutrition

In Koumra in southern Chad, Morija supports the Mother and Child Protection Center (MCP) created by the Franco-Swiss association Betsaleel, which welcomes children suffering from severe malnutrition. Adequate medical care is provided to children by nasogastric tube and 5 balanced meals can be distributed each day. Nutrition counseling is also given to mothers of children with moderate malnutrition. They can then go home with their child.
