Last month, the 66 hygiene promoters of the Commune of Nobéré in Burkina Faso, trained by Morija, were formalized in their villages.
These promoters are made aware of good hygiene and sanitation practices. They will be the referents in their village for these questions and will spread their knowledge in order to improve behavior and therefore save lives.
In sub-Saharan Africa, 500 children die every day from diarrheal diseases linked to poor hygiene. The local role of promoters is therefore essential!
