Since 2017, April 21 marks the International Day of Creativity and Innovation. This event promotes the use of creativity and innovation to solve the problems we face, address challenges such as eradicating poverty and hunger and more broadly ensure a sustainable future. It’s about reinventing ourselves and finding alternative solutions to today’s sustainable development challenges.
In this spirit, Morija brought a relatively simple but effective innovation to the latrines of the Paalga school during its renovation, latrines not equipped with electricity. A transparent sheet was integrated into the roof, allowing natural light to diffuse into a place considered too dark by its users. This innovation will be applied to all new constructions carried out by Morija, to the delight of the users.
