Solidarity with the pupils of the Yagma school in Burkina Faso

On Saturday, April 17, the Ecole du Potier in Palézieux organized a donation drive in front of the Denner in Bossonens (FR). The students of this Vaud school were remarkably involved in this event: they set up a stand and offered boxes of chocolates to the visitors of the shopping center.
Nearly CHF 500 were collected for the benefit of children in Africa. More precisely, the objective of this collection of donations was to offer medical visits and follow-up to the 172 pupils of the Yagma school in Burkina Faso, which is located on the outskirts of the capital Ouagadougou.
These young children, some of whom have fled terrorist violence, face difficult learning conditions as the school is very rundown. The students of the Ecole du Potier can be proud of having contributed to improving their lot!
