Today, International Mother Earth Day reminds us of the primordial role of our planet and its interdependence with other living species.
Biodiversity is in danger, its depletion contributes to the emergence of new infectious diseases. One million animal and plant species are now threatened with extinction. (UN)

Morija raises awareness among youth in Africa and Switzerland
In its activities, Morija raises awareness among youth about environmental problems in the North and South and provides concrete solutions to preserve biodiversity in sub-Saharan Africa.
In Africa, the Market Gardens project promotes the cultivation of legumes by students that will be used to feed them, and contributes to transmitting the knowledge necessary to understand their environment and the importance of biodiversity.
In Switzerland, Morija raises students’ awareness by speaking in classrooms about international humanitarian issues related to sustainable development.
Preserving our planet also means teaching young people the right gestures by transmitting ecological and solidarity values that Morija amplifies through its actions.
