Education in the Sahel: “And there was light”…

At the Paalga school complex in Burkina Faso, supported by Morija, 100 CM1 and CM2 students, some from displaced or refugee families, received solar lamps. These lamps will allow them to light up at nightfall (which occurs very early, around 6:00 p.m.) and to be able to work in the evening and better prepare for their end-of-year exams.

The lamps were generously funded by the Danish Refugee Office, which supports children from IDP or refugee families to allow them to continue their education despite being uprooted. A big thank you to them 😊
