Drinking water and a functioning canteen!

In Burkina Faso, in the rural town of Guéré in the center-south of the country, the two schools of Guéré C (131 students) and D (77 students) benefited from Morija’s support at the start of the school year with the creation of a canteen and a drinking water point in each establishment.

Drilling and rehabilitation

The Guéré C school had a non-functional borehole which could be rehabilitated.
For Guéré D, a new borehole has been created, the children of the two schools now benefit from drinking water near their establishment.

This water is necessary for the functioning of the canteen and for the hygiene of the pupils who will be able to wash their hands, which will better fight against the transmission of diseases.

All these achievements will improve the daily life of these children. They were made possible thanks to the generosity of the Municipality of Aesch in Switzerland. A very big thank you for their precious help.
